Baca Buku? What's the Problem?

Finally!! Another post!! Haha after all this time..

I wanna share my umm.. Opinion about something..

Kadang, saya suka bingung dengan orang yang tidak suka membaca. Benar-benar bingung. Bukannya membaca itu asik? 

Baca. Hiburan yang paling paling paling bermanfaat. Apalagi kalo dibandingin sama nonton TV, atau kalo sekarang ini FB-an dan Twitter-an. Pertama, wawasan jadi lebih luas. Kalo readers perhatiin, cara ngomong orang yang suka baca dan yang ga suka baca itu beda. Maksudnya beda? Yaa orang yang suka baca pasti bicarainnya ga ece-ece, ada isinya. Itu bisa terjadi karena mereka punya wawasan yang luas. Banyak referensi, jadi ga asal ngomong. Dan itu bakalan makin terlihat kalo kita udah dewasa. Kedua, kita jadi lebih jago nulis. Perlu contoh? Ada.. Ga usah jauh-jauh. Tau Andrea Hirata? Dia sebenernya ga ada latar belakang penulis loh. Tapi dia bisa bikin buku-buku yang sampe go international, karena banyak membaca. Percaya ga? Jadi readers kalo baca novel, atau artikel dan semacamnya jangan cuman asal baca terus selesai. Perhatikan juga tata bahasanya, bagaimana cara si penulis mendeskripsikan kejadian-kejadian dalam tulisannya, membuat klimaks cerita dan sebagainya, biar pas selesai baca novel/artikelnya ga cuman dapet pelajaran yang bisa diambil (a.k.a hikmah/amanah), tapi dapet juga pelajaran Bahasa Indonesianya. Emang sih, kalo dulu kita semua pasti pernah ngalamin itu (baca asal baca), tapi kan sekarang kita harus udah mulai baca dengan tujuan yang ga asal nikmati keseruan buku itu, tapi merhatiin yang lainnya juga, kaya yang tadi saya bilang.

So.. readers harus mulai suka membaca, karena baca buku itu ga ada ruginya. Tapi inget, buku-buku yang mau dibaca harus diseleksi dulu ya~ sesuai ga buat umur kita, jangan nanti umur 14 tahun bacanya buku dongeng anak umur 9 tahun, ga asik banget deh. Jangan penuhin pikiran readers dengan "baca buku itu boring, bikin ngantuk, ga ada asik-asiknya." itu salah besar! Baca buku itu adiktif, bikin ketagihan. Lebih-lebih kalo udah punya penulis favorit. Semua buku penulis itu bakal kita buru, sampe punya semuanya (curcol dikit). Satu lagi pesan dari saya, kalo readers udah suka baca dari sekarang itu akan sangat menguntungkan readers nanti ketika udah di perguruan tinggi. Soalnya, saya denger-denger nih, (saya sendiri belum pernah soalnya) nanti kita bakal disuruh baca banyaaaaaak banget buku. Kan kalo ga suka baca jadi repot?
